Our names are Fred and Elisabeth. We are the parents of 3
young children, Austin, Hailey and John. Due to the economy
Fred has lost work. With no income we couldn't pay the
bills. If not for the Buddy Eller Center our family would
have no home. The other families here have been great, each
helping one another the best they can. And the staff treats
us as family. We would like to thank the Buddy Eller Center
for all they have done. |

The 64-bed Buddy Eller Center homeless shelter opened its
doors on June 1, 2004. The facility is open throughout the
year and offers shelter to homeless families and individuals
as well as showers to the general homeless population. .

counseling, referral to Ford Street treatment, crisis
intervention through the Department of Mental Health, health
care and screening (including dental referrals), assistance
